On Thursday, August 25th, 2011, the Anaheim Marriott Hotel hosted their quarterly Client Menu Tasting Event and Vendor Fair for current clients who have upcoming events at the Marriott. Mike and Robin attended the event, manning a vendor table and discussing entertainment options with guests.
Attendees were both social (wedding) and corporate (mostly Holiday parties). Many musical, variety, and A/V issues were discussed and described. The corporate guests were excited to hear about an alternative to Casino Night presented by Essence Entertainment – Horse Racing! Very engaging and unique entertainment! The Anaheim Marriott Hotel Staff (Peter Gunther, Monica Sprague, Andrea Randecker…to name only a few…) did an outstanding job hosting the event and presenting a wide variety of Menu Options. The room was beautifully decorated (complete with white floor to ceiling drapes and atmosphere lighting around the entire room), with head table on a stage, dance floor, and numerous linen options/table decor ideas displayed. Preferred Vendors added their individual touches. Of mention, Essence Entertainment provided dinner music by the Jazz Expedition Trio under the direction of Brad Powell.
Senior Banquet Chef Patrick Duralde did a wonderful job describing each selection within the upcoming course, while large photos were displayed on two large screens. Chef Patrick then went table to table, engaging in lively conversation and answering questions.
After 4 Salads, 3 Chicken Entrees, 2 Beef Entrees, and 2 Seafood Entrees, (each and every Entree served with its own sides), we were presented with 4 Desserts!!
