Chris & Lisa, members of one of Essence Entertainment’s very popular Variety Dance Bands, Sound FX, have a regular Duo Gig at the iconic Queen Mary in Long Beach.
Not only is the Queen Mary good for a visit, especially if you haven’t been there lately, but the Observation Bar in which they play is absolutely incredible!
Once the original First-Class Lounge, the chic Art Deco Observation Bar in Long Beach is the perfect place to relax, meet friends or simply enjoy the sunset and panoramic views. With original artwork above the bar, art deco tables and chairs, and distinctive torchiere lamps illuminating the room, drink in the 1930’s vibe as you sip cocktails in this retro, elegant lounge.
Chris & Lisa are looking forward to seeing you on Sundays aboard the Queen Mary. They play from 3pm to 8pm, which puts them playing into the sunset – a spectacular experience from the ship. The Long Beach skyline looks beautiful, and there’s not a more relaxing way to spend a beautiful Sunday, watching the sun go down, listening to the Chris & Lisa Duo.
Come have Evon, our world-class bartender, make you a margarita. Sit back and enjoy a relaxing day with us. The ship is almost free, with validated parking, and alternative parking with shuttle bus makes the ship completely free. Just enter the Queen Mary Hotel entrance and tell them your are headed for the Observation Bar. Minors accompanied by an adult are allowed until 7PM. We serve excellent entrees, and people love the “food/drink/music” Sunday experience. There’s always a Carnival Cruise ship docked next to us on Sunday, and lots of times they let you walk around the cruise ship as well as the Queen Mary.
